Cruising through the the sea of cheap junk on the bay and I stumbled on these new 18650 vitra cells 99p for 2 posted :) there must be a catch o_O
Anywho, 99.8% positive feedback so I've ordered 5 lots (10 cells)

Batterys turned up today, taking the outer sleeve off I find there Samsung cells.
I paid £4.95 for 5 that equals 10 cells, what actualy came was 10 pr's = 20 cells.

There is something that does not add up to me quite right. I know real market price for Samsung cells when purchased in thousands and its more then 25pence each. Chap is selling them on eBay for a quid, that includes postage, VAT, eBay fees, PayPal fees. I might be thick but I still don't get it.

Not sure,but are these packs used in hospitals as back up and once past there use buy date they won't use them.

I bought two pairs and got four pairs for £1.98. Strange thing is that the postage cost somebody £3.30.

I was going to split the packs and use them for flashlight cells, but now I'm wondering about what else I could use them for. The datasheet says each cell is good for a maximum continuous discharge current of 4000mA. Any suggestions? Top of the list at the moment is to power some downlighting on my little girls pushchair.

I also bought 10 of these. I am using in an e-cig. they seem ok. Can't grummble at this price.

I'm in the same boat, I brought the cells just because Of the price :)
I might make some blocks of cells wired in parallel, by adding the appropriate step up converter I can power many things ;)
