Battery connector doesn't fit

Hello,

I just got my battery for my first build and was very excited to get it up and running but unfortunately the connector from the controller doesn't match the battery connectors.
Another thing is that the wire is too short to even reach the connector anyway.

I think I have two options which is to either find some extension cable or have to solder some wire in between.

Only thing is I have no idea what the two connectors actually are. I've attached some pictures as you might be able to recognise them.

I would appreciate it if you could give me some advice as to what to do!

Thank you :)

Hi,
Goos idea and I would do that but it's a triangle battery that sits in the triangle bit of the frame and I want to be able to remove it.
If I were to just solder some cable through I would not be able to remove it unfortunately.

Thank though :)

Controller are Blue crappy auto bullets with the hard shroud cut them off and use something better, they are the pits.
Battery Red/Black ones are Anderson powerpole depending on the size will be 15 or 30a rated.. Either get more Anderson's ( male/female are same universal fitting ) or use XT60's or XT90 anti spark.
All are on Ebay.

If you must have connectors, then XT60 or Deans. Andersons can bend until they don't make proper contact, and they're harder to solder and assemble.

Agree, the black and red ones are Anderson connectors. They are a bit tricky to assemble but once done are reliable. I have them on the Y splitter for my parrallel batteries, so they are always getting plugged an d unplugged, and they've been fine.
For extension cable you can get silicon cable by the meter, 14g should be fine.

On my controllers I use XT60's, carrying extra battery to connect in Parrallel I use XT90AS at the battery end on the fly lead.
