Battery getting cheaper by the day

I found this battery on ebay so I Google ebay Germany and looked on there. I just devidded the price e in euros by 1.35 to get the stirling price,

It's just for 1 brake here and not a pair so very expensive

Battery arrived today! Ordered on Monday and delivered from Germany on Thursday and you cant get better that that. Battery doesn't look cheep at all and was showing 3 lights of charge so have now fully charged it with Bosch charger, and fitted it to the bike. Display with my fully charged 400w battery shows 55 miles, and this one shows 35 miles which I suppose reflects the lower capacity.. Now only time will tell!!

Phil how heavy is the batter and I wondered if you could please give me dimensions so I can see if it will fit in my brompton bag rear pocket ?

Ps I am also assuming you can use a generic charger and dont have to use the Bosch one ?

I am a bit stuck at the moment with a broken garage door but will weigh it when I can get it open. The battery is exactly the same size and shape as the bosch one and charges with the bosch charger. .. weight feels similar as well but will check later.

Thanks I found the dimensions on line and its too tall

I will stick with my 3Ah and 6Ah DIY konion packs which are still running well and in balance

Can I just give a shout out for Amazon.de who are pretty good too. The range is wider and some stuff is quite a bit cheaper than UK even after postage.

I don't suppose anyone knows of an alternative supplier of wisper batteries? Although I suppose I could always replace it with a cheaper rack mounted one.
