Just need a bit of info, I have a halfords assist electric bike, 24v could I fit a higher ampage to the bike or would it mess the controler up? Say 24v x 10amp I think the original is around 4 amp. Many thanks Rob

If you mean Battery capacity In Amp Hours (Ah) Then increasing this will cause no problems so long as it’s still 24v.

Show us the bike you have and tell us why you want a different battery.

You can fit any 24v battery whether 6ah, 10ah 16ah or one of any capacity, it will increase range and keep top end voltage higher for a little longer. It wont give you more power (watts or speed) but will allow you use the max watts for a little longer.

With any new battery always test and check the battery polarity is correct before simply connecting up other wise things can go BANG.
