Nice how's the performance with these settings..these look similar to my old settings which I will go back to..I notice the stop decay at 6. Does this make a big difference. I see your back to 9 pas levels I think it works better at 9 even thou my display is only 5.. Think I will try this tomorrow.
The stop is quick at 6 (read less than 5 can cause problems) than the usual 25. Allows slightly quicker gear change.Higher start currents likewise improve takeup response. So less loss of momentum on hills changing gear.I may try 30 % start current on throttle.Everything i read says higher than 5 -10% Will cause jerky response ,but im not seeing it.
To be honest Ebyke i got the 2nd batt (won for £110 on ebay ,samsung cells,as new, only used once)so i cld run the bike full power all the time ,while still getting a good range. Around 40 miles from 30ah. Im still using 5 levels of PAS ,but you still have 9 in the programming tool.Just set 1,3 ,5,7,9 to what u want.
In practice I only use PAS 5, full 18amps.Only gets warm, never hot.The lower PAS levels are if i ever run low on juice. With the 100 % keep current an pokier start current settings it feels a powerful companion to my new bbshd build .Rather than getting side lined ,this is the go to for the 30-40 mile rides. The bbshd for insane power 20 mile rides.
Below is the bbshd.Used a Marin bobtail trail with a 52v 15 ah samsung 30q cells. Alloy 42t narrow wide chainring from electron cycles.the kit inc a gear sensor.which i fitted at the handlebar end.Not superior to just stopping peddling for a second method. So unless inc for free,as this was, dont bother.
