My bike was working fine, i pulled it out from behind some stuff, and some of the cables around the handlebars snagged on something.
Not realising i yanked the bike a bit and now it wont turn on.

I think this is strange because none of the cables that got snagged were the power cable?
It should only be the gears and brakes cables, and maybe the lcd.
But theres no power to the motor at all. Ive tried with another battery too.

The only solution I can think of is to buy a new main connector cable:

Should that fix it or could it be anything else?
I wouldnt like to wait a month and half for a new cable only to discover that wasnt the problem at all.

Don't buy anything, you'd probably be wasting your money. Stay calm and wait for help from those who know the BBS02. It's probably a very minor fault which wont cost anything to fix.

First please can you check the multi connections /plugs are still pushed tightly together up at the display end, also the other motor end the 9way multi plug is also pushed in tight

+1 Check all the connections are pushed in tightly. Same thing happened to me and it was a connection problem (if I remember correctly it was the connector between the display and the +/- on/off button on the handlebars)

Are you 100% sure that the display entry cable didn't get a good yank at the same time ? Likely hood is it did and unseen to the eye one of the pcb thin power wires has been pulled off or broken inside .

If it does turn out you need a new 1T4 cable, ebay is faster... if the seller actually does post from within the UK as advertised... which might not be the case, as often they're posted to the seller from China and reposted once items arrive in the UK. The replacement I bought wasn't as good quality as the original, the sheathing started to come away at the large multipin connector - fixed with 4:1 self-adhesive heatshrink.

I think this is what happened. Ive checked that theres power throughout the whole system with a voltemeter and there is, up until and including the 5 pin display cable. So it must be the case that the cable connecting it from there to the display broke.

Ill have to get a new 5 pin cable.

If it won't turn on the problem is between the ON button and the LCD or the LCD and the motor. Only you know which wires you pulled. You didn't say which control panel you have, so it's not possible to help further.

The cable between on button and display wasnt pulled. The 5pin cable between display and 1t4 cable must have been. There is power in the 1t4 cable. Theres no power in the display to on button cable.
