If you look at the thread 'is dave having a laugh'-it would be amusing only there is a danger that a less wordly wise bidder will get scammed by these guys.
There is absolutely no chance that you will receive from China a Kudos King bike for £375.00-the delivery for a one-off bike from China is more than that sum.
It looks like they have moved the scam onto other bikes.
Remember that £375.00 could be a monthly income in China so if they succeed scamming once per week, this is a lot of money to these guys.
BE CAREFUL ABOUT BIDDING ON BIKES FROM CHINA<ESPECIALLY IF THE SELLER HAS NO TRANSACTION RECORDS.

Timely warning Dave, although I am sure members of this forum wouldnt be taken in by them, I would think

many other people do get scammed .....regularly ....otherwise they wouldnt keep doing it.

It doesnt seem like either ebay or paypal have the will to try to stop it.

Thank you for responding to the original thread confirming the potential scam.

On reflection I should not have worded it the way I did personalizing you and I apologise for that.

Thank also to the forum/ebay member who bid for them and immediately posted negative feedback.

I appears that he has setup a secondary ebay account just to do this - I might consider doing this myself.

Shemozzle...I took no offence,don't worry.
I was amused by all the guesses later in the thread,if Kudos wanted to offload some cheap bikes we would be open about it,not hide behind some dubious e-bay account.
The chinese build out every bike they can, trust me they never have any spare bits laying around to build a few more!
The only insult to me was that my Kudos King bike only reached £375.00....before Eddie says it....' thats all it is worth, hehe' !!!!!!

Probably less of an insult, more the current winter circumstances Dave. We've recently seen two other e-bikes initially fail to reach anything like their true worth.

A Woosh bike looks very fetching, trailer or no trailer.
Greetings all from sunny Cape Town where I have been very good until now at staying away from work for 3 weeks.
Weather great, food brilliant, wine mega cheap and scenery fantastic - especially the bike trails all over Table Mountain.
Here am I next to a typical one, smooth gravelled track going from 300 to 900m at the summit, ideal for electric bikes although have seen none so far - its all full of Lycras.
Not just Table Mountain either - all over the area are great trails, including Cape of Good Hope and Tokai forest (the photo was taken here, simply stunning place).
Anyone fancy setting up with me as Woosh Cape Town? 3 to 6 months in the sun every year, can't be bad...please form an orderly queue.

Watch out for South African crime though Hatti. My nephew Carl, a former South African cycle cross champion, ran a cycle shop there. Twice the shop was totally stripped of all it's stock and left derelict, and then when it happened for the third time when he was away from home as well, the shop was stripped again and also his bungalow home emptied of everything. That was the last straw, he came back to England and works in the cycle trade here now.

On a similar topic, almost everyday I get emails telling me that someone wants to give millions of £€$ and I just need to give my bank details to get the money, I have won a lottery.....without buying a ticket or my PayPal / bank account has been suspended etc., etc.

I wonder just how many people fall for these quite blatant cons to obtain personal details and defraud.

Many do, also falling for phone offers of high interest investments, in some reported cases investing many tens of thousands of pounds.

It annoys me that the police actually investigate these at our expense, when all too often the "victim" is merely guilty of putting sheer greed before common sense. In many cases I've heard of, they deserve to be defrauded, in a world where interest rates are very low, only greed and stupidity makes anyone send large sums of money to an unknown phone caller on a promise of 20% or more interest.
