Hi Zebb,
I fitted an 8fun kit to a mtb i bought on ebay especially for the purpose, as I had a disappointing experience with a purpose-made ebike & wasn't sure I'd use it... But it's the best thing since sliced bread!
I ride about 70/30 on road/trails, but a lot of the roads have grass down the middle

I try to incorporate the local bike trails into rides, using them to access areas of interest.
We are on holiday on Exmoor this week & it's obvious that my hub-motor is not terribly suitable for this terrain - LOTS of 1:4 hills, both on & off-road

so I'm intending to seek the advice of those that have fitted one & bung a crank-drive kit on the full-susser I recently bought for one of my daughters to ride.
Problem with that will be getting her backside off it once she knows it has a motor!
I thoroughly enjoy my road & trail riding, but am really getting keen to do a bit of singletrack too.
BTW, I'm 63, going on 14, according to SWMBO
