Cycling balance and steering is challenging even to the human brain and nervous system, so even though remote controlled this is quite an achievement.

Now if only they could get voice commands and gps then i could sit in a trailer.

Of course, in the past horses used to do just this! On their regular daily routes they would pull carts etc to their usual destination with the driver doing nothing and often nodding off.

In wartime Glasgow my grandfather had a coal carting business. The reins of the second horse would be thrown over the tailgate of the first cart with me as an 8 year old sitting inactive in the driving position.
After the load on 'my cart' was tipped I would be handed the reins and told "Do nothing" a slap on the horse's rump and "home Nigger" took us back to Rogart Street in the middle of the city.
