Thanks for those pointers - I tried what is called the 6km/h Boost with my current 900S setup and the bike hardly moved with me sat on the saddle; it is meant a an assist when walking the bike.
I looked at the KT LCD3 display manual and I think I would be able to set up the throttle to allow legal operation.

I've replaced my 900S display with an LCD5 something I should have done years ago as it is so much more useful. Everything worked 'out of the box' so the only program changes I've done is max speed 25km/h, P4 = 1 and C4 = 1 so now throttle only works when I pedal and delivers up to full power. Are any other adjustments advisable?

It's normally C4=3 for a legal throttle.

Thanks I missed that and will change that setting to C4=3.
