why are they no or not many suplliers in the u.k?

i am looking for a nice tidy road/hybrid type bike with the bosch system to go with my Haibike.
the thought of having the power of 2 bosch powered bikes is very appealing.
the range is nowhere as near as the kalkhoff panasonic range, but the power for offroad riding is far far better.
and the range of 2 powerfull batteries for on the road would be great.

every bike i seemto find is from either germany or switzerland.
i found a nice looking bike from Bergamont.

Bergamont Bicycles - Hamburg

how hard would it to be to purchase one of these in the u.k.

50cycles have a 350 watt Bosch powered Kalkhoff on this link

Kudos Cycles have two Bosch powered Xenion models on this link

in addition to the UK Haibike outlet.

I don't know of any others at present.

The bergamont looks decent enough, but have never heard of them or seen any feedback either.

Yo can now get Scott, Corratec, AVE (got mine Saturday) Cannondale (not sure) and some other makes that escape me at the moment..have a look at some earlier posts

Bergamont are brilliant bikes! I have a hardtail mountain bike and a carbon road bike from them. Have toured their setup and can vouch for quality. Can put you in touch with someone if you decide you want one....
