Jeremy Corbyn always was and still is a Euro-skeptic!
lots of people are and still appreciate why we must remain in the bloc.
In a way, call for another referendum is the best way for the LibDems and Labour to regain voters at the next GE.

Sajid Javid looks more like The Hood (Thunderbirds) every day! Though less eyebrow. But seems he is going to OK HS2 - so awaiting decision from BJ which will tear into tory cohesion.

Personally, I cannot see that any politician would be willing to pick up 'Another Brexit referendum' after all the recent trauma caused by the last one.
Anyway, the Labour Party know that Brexit split away their traditional Northern and Welsh working class voters from their Southern Middle class social justice voters. I wouldn't be surprised that they will never want to talk about it ever again and Brexit will become a politically incorrect word, at least among the middle class left voters.

Hah!
don`t touch either,
a proper Chairperson would have bade them goodbye and wished them well , but No it was clear to see the viciousness was in there and she had to let it out.
Poor form.
Waving the flags or as you would pronounce FLEGGs ,was intentionally insulting and that shower knew it. . She is a very proper Chair, and will now command the respect of all the Parliament, since those wastrels have left.

Another day, another problem. (And I can't read the name Drax without thinking of Moonraker.) Am rather surprised at 75% because we already have 11.65 GW CCGT generation. Including 2 GW Pembroke. So not clear what basis there is for claiming 75% of the emissions. Perhaps several existing ones will close down?

UK sued for approving Europe’s biggest gas power station
Andrea Leadsom overruled climate aims of government’s own planning authority
The UK government is being sued for approving a large new gas-fired power plant, overruling the climate change objections of its own planning authority.

The plant, being developed by Drax in north Yorkshire, would become the biggest gas power station in Europe and could produce 75% of the UK’s power sector emissions when fully operational, according to the environmental lawyers ClientEarth, who have brought the judicial review.

The planning inspectorate recommended to ministers that the 3.6GW gas plant was to be refused permission because it “would undermine the government’s commitment, as set out in the Climate Change Act 2008, to cut greenhouse emissions” by having “significant adverse effects”. It was the first big project rejected because of the climate crisis.

Not news, well, not for many readers here:

UK car production sank to its lowest in almost a decade in 2019, with output forecast to continue falling this year.
Factories produced 1.3 million units last year, down 14.2% on 2018 and the third consecutive year of decline, according to figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturing and Traders.

No, Three at most
And who pray may I ask will replace Tories after your 3 at most?
Putin is more likely to take charge here than any current or potential Labour leader.
A whole new Party needs to be created, with right leader saying right things. In 3 years? Takes Labour 3 years to organise a bus trip. No chance.
I dont see any logic in your reasoning that somehow Tories can lose their 80 seat majority or have so many not following party line/ignoring whip for Tories to lose power.
I dont think you understand the mechanics of our so called "democracy". Whilst we only have one party (with an 80 majority thats all we have) we are living in a dictatorship.
To change that we need a second party before next GE. Where is that second party coming from.
Also, your "3 years at most " makes no sense at all. To only get 3 years Boris/Tories will have to call an election early under mistaken belief Labour have no chance. If there is slightest chance of Labour increasing their vote Tories will simply take their chances at 5 years not 3.
The minimum is 5.If Labour dont change Boris will call at 3 and make minimum 8.
You are living in your own little bubble again. Reading everything negative about Boris, taking note of prejudiced reactions on here. This Government are going nowhere for a long time. Thank Corbyn,Unite, Momentum, McCluskey, Abbot and co.
The reality is Tories now enjoy 2 massive benefits.
A) They have a majority of 80,with many new and young MPs all thanking Boris for their new status and money. Eager to keep Tories in power and keep their new cash and position. They will do as they are told.
B) There is no opposition. They are dead in the water.
When we had Thatcher at least there was an alternative. There simply isnt at the moment.
And its been so predictable. Corbyn was never ever going to be PM. He, s way out of step with middle England.
As if our country was ever going to elect a Party controlled by McCluskey and getting Corbyn as PM and Abott deputy. Ridiculous. But Labour haven't even realised. They simply continue with their idealism and in same direction towards oblivion. Leaving us with Tories, indefinitely perhaps.

that's to be expected and manufacturing is going to be hit until we join one of the blocs.

This became inevitable with our delays on installing replacement nuclear power. We should have been doing that at least twenty years ago.

It's either gas or the lights go out.

Three years is more than long enough for even the dumbest voter to realise that they were wrong about Brexit and Labour and happily vote for them.
No I am not living in a bubble, I am not actually a Labour supporter to the extent that you imagine I am.
The trend is obvious, for after all if people were stupid enough to vote for Boris.
They can be induced to vote for literally anything.
Logic isn't involved, it is all about the power of protest.
Brexit simply has to be a roaring success, anything less is doom for the Conservatives, and they know that.
So now we will have News blackouts where things go wrong, and only projects that can be sold to the public to inspire patriotic enthusiasm will see the light of day.

As an example Boris is according to The Times and Sunday Times set to back HS2 in Defiance of Fuhrer Cummings.
It's Germany in the 1930's time all over again., but with Charlie Chaplin as the great dictator
