Turning into a speed junkie Nigel? :D

26mph is pretty quick!

The technial answer is yes, but you'd need a new controller and a new battery minimum, possibly a new throttle and you'd be into experimental territory with other possible problems such as overheating. Definatley possible but not as easy as deristricted something. you could of course start pedalling a bit harder :D

Actually you might not need a new controller, it depends on what voltage the components in it are rated at. you'd definatley need a new battery though.

Thanx baboonking
its good to know its possibile to make the torq faster:D at top speed it seems to go really well without to much strain as you say it must be possibile to coax a bit more speed. NIGEL.

Yes, more volts and a new controller as Baboonking says, but overheating in hot weather could become a problem. When run flat out with high battery drain in over 30 degrees C conditions, the Torq motor can get too hot to touch as it is.

It's a very compact motor for it's power, and the smaller the casing, the more difficult it is for heat to dissipate into the air.
