can you change spindle length on bbs mid drive motors?

Is it for a fat bike? Yes there are versions for fat bikes.

You can get 68mm,73mm,100mm and 120mm that I know of.

I guess you can change them if you can get the bits. Before they came out with the longer shafts, I seem to remember someone offering kits to lengthen the shaft, but i guess he's stopped doing them since Bafang did them OEM.

Just to clarify..i am asking whether once you have a unit you can swop spindles to fit other bikes eg if you have a motor to fit a bike with a 120 mm bb (eg fatbike) can you alter the motor to fit another bike with a standard 68 /73 shell and obviously a shorter spindle?

I think that's a no. I think you'd have to buy another motor with that specific length axle (options as stated above by kinninvie).
