Hi
I have a TGA with what I think is a duff controller the bike is hardly used (5 miles) and TGA dont have any controlers in stock discontinued line.
So my question is can I fit a modern 24v controller if mine turns out to be duff
Also is there a good electronics book for this sort of thing or web site
I have a fair understanding of vehicle electrics but not this sort and the units inside the controller appear to be of old design
Manay thanks

Modern controllers are almost all for brushless motors, and the TGA always used a brush motor I believe. Most bikes still using brushed motors are 36 volt now, so offhand I don't know a suitable one.

I think 'ecrazyman' on ebay still sells brushed motor controllers at 24v. I use his brushless ones and they are excellent.
Figuring out the wiring might be intersting but brushed is much easier.
