I think E-Zip is what they are calling the steel framed I-Zip now.

The latest I-Zip Mountain Trailz has an alloy frame and is at around £450 here.

I haven't seen the E-Zips listed here in the UK, but that would be cheap if we didn't have to pay the usual UK rip-off premium on the prices.

I want one.
How do you go about buying from the UK?
What is the "UK rip-off premium on the prices." ie. any idea on how to work this out?

You can just buy it though that website, but you will have to pay the high carriage cost to the UK, and will almost certainly receive a later bill from HMRC (customs and excise) for VAT and any import duty. So in the end it's often not worth it.

The reference to rip-off Britain is to the way that prices in other countries, especially the USA, magically greatly increase on products when they appear on our market. It's a long standing problem.
