I don't think you will find a BionX kit cheaper in the UK and of course the batteries are very expensive.

If required Cyclezee can supply a Freewheels.

It was the same for me, I had an eZee kit a couple of years back, but sold it because I didn't want to get landed with the cost of having to replace the battery

I think you meant to say you had a bionx kit a couple of years back, you are selling ezee kits.

As I understand their batteries use or used to use Sony Konion cells and the earlier ones did not even use a BMS, not that Konions need them.

I just built a 6Ah Konion pack for £100 though the Konion cells are getting harder to source now. Those over on the ES forum have use these cells for years to build their DIY packs.

As nice as these kits are reported to be, IMHO they always seemed VERY expensive probably more so to those of us that like to build everything from DIY component parts.

I was offered one the other day by a local bike shop trying to shift a couple. I wonder if the company is struggling ?
