Are the Wuxing twist throttles compatible with different voltage motor controllers?
For example, if you bought two kits, one a 24v and the other a 36v.
Both have Wuxing twist throttles, would they be interchangeable?
I did notice that the Wuxing twist throttle on my Cyclamatic has 24v printed on the side, so i'm kinda guessing what the answer will be :(

That's odd, the Hall sensor ones I know operate on the usual 5 volts that's so common in chip circuits. That might be an oddity on the Cyclamatic's controller, or it might indicate an upper voltage limit for the included Hall sensor.

If you can get at the connections anywhere, check the voltages across the three wires in turn.

The controller does have this info printed on it, so assume it is the 5v circuit you mention:

24v system
Max 14A
Rate 7A
Low Voltage 21v
Throttle adjust 1.2v - 4.4v
Serial number: WS X09050019870

The 24v printed on the side of the actual throttle threw me, as i expected to be able to use it with a different controller. Maybe it's for the factory to fit the correct throttle to the right bike. The Cyclamatic folder might come with a slightly different style.
The mystery deepens

Then as GB suggests, the voltage relates to the operating range of the lights, not thefunction of the throttle itself. As, along with the Hall sensor circuit, there will be another pair that simply carries the full battery voltage for the indicator lights. So where it says 'low voltage 21v' it means that this voltage will only make the red light come on, with the green at 24v, and the amber somewhere in between.

To be honest, the lights don't really give any useful information, so it's good to know that the actual throttle part could be used for 24v or 36v.
