Conversion Kits - Cycle to Work Scheme??

Hi,

Thinking of either getting an e-bike or a conversion kit through my own business using the Cycle to Work scheme.

Whilst I know the parameters of the scheme for a e-bike purchase, does anyone know if a conversion kit that would then be fitted to an employee's (my) privately owned bike would be acceptable?

Have asked my accountants, but they're being rubbish, and I really can't be bothered to sit on a HMRC call for 2hrs of holding music!!

Sorry, should have been clearer. I am my employer (single director ltd company), so I will just be buying the bike kit myself.

Accountants have advised that my company should buy my own personal bike to make it a business asset, then buy the conversion kit, so that the converted bike is all business asset.
