Copenhagen buddy for hire

Hi Everyone,

I'm in Copenhagen this week, and the hotel I'm staying in has a special offer whereby you can hire a buddy.

They have had bicycles for hire for a long time, but they've just added this electric car...

All I could find out is that its called a Buddy and costs more than a petrol vehicle to hire. The range is 60 km - so no good for Exmoor, then.

This is a Norwegian make and sells pretty well there, though it was a Danish concept originally. I also saw one of these on my last visit to a friend in Copenhagen (great city to be in - lots of top class jazz!).

I see two sides to this.

The positive, it's good to see a realistic use being found for an electric car.

The negative, the illustration of just how far away from practical reality the electric car still is for most people.
