Wonderful! In the great tradition of British eccentricity!
is his motor any good for E Bikes?
The Agni motor is used by most of the TTXGP entrants. It's a proper full on motor giving up to 40HP or so and can handle 250A or so. Way, way too much for a pedelec!
This might amuse you. Taken at an industry meeting of car-M/C trade people yesterday.
That's me talking to Cedric. The vehicles are my Aurora Alien, Cedric's LynchMobile and Paul Blezard's heavily modified Suzuki Burgman 650. Paul is currently borrowing a Whisper folder. Paul rode my Aurora the 7miles or so to my home and I rode his Orange thing. He loved it, I was somewhat scared!
Cedric's bike has 26" rims with either double the number of spokes or M/C spokes with adapters. The tyres are 559-47C Michelin Pilot City bicycle tyres. He runs them at high pressure and up to 60mph. Amazing! One of his bigger problems is finding bicycle tyres with enough tread depth to be legal and pass an MOT since his bike is technically a 125cc light motorcycle. He has taken it on motorways (and been stopped) which he couldn't do if it was licensed as a 50cc moped. The more I found out about this machine, the more amazed I am.
