Hi all - apologies if I've missed any announcements - does anyone know if Cytronex have abandoned using the Trek 7.3. Their site does show the Trek but lists it as currently unavailable and has done for a while.

I see on their site that they're offering a unisex-type Ridgeback and some other dearer versions (Canondale).

Just wondered anyone can tell me if they're going back into Trek production as I was hovering about purchasing one
Thanks

Rab

I think they said the Trek model was discontinued and their models no longer suitable for conversion, hence the change of makes to convert. In addition Cytronex have altered their control system to a single control more automated method.

I notice the Cytronex site only gives one mention of a Trek version. It's probably best to contact them to see if Trek will feature in future, but I think that one mention on the Cytronex site is just to enable the favourable A to B review of their system to be featured.

Hi Rab

Cytronex don't supply the Treks anymore. Shame really because I thought they were nice bikes. If you haven't seen them yet here are the links to the Claud Butler and the other bikes which I think are also good bikes but as you say more expensive. I'm sure this years Cytronex Treks would have been equally expensive too.

Interesting to see the used models look to be holding the price well.

The E-Motion bikes look interesting too.

Apologies for delayed reply and thanks to all who took the trouble to reply.

Flecc - you're probably bang on about the Trek being kept on the website to hang a bit of advertising on the reviews - quite understandable.

Mutiny/Barnowl - the Canondale & Claud Butlers do look mighty fine but a bit on the rich side for me just at the moment. I could sell a couple of children which would raise a few quid but we'll have to see . . . . anybody need their chimneys cleaned by small kids ?
