Dahon Folding Bike

To me the Gitane cycle parts look very rudimentary, not in the Dahon or Flyer league.

The Flyer looks like it uses Dahon folder parts.

At a price of € 2290 with an 8Ah battery against €2202 for the Dahon, I would chose the Flyer.

It's a shame that Dahon can't make an electric bike with their normal good price/value ratio.

Expensive stuff but quality costs I guess.
I have a recumbent trike I'd love to electrify and as it's got a Rohloff hub I can't fit an electric hub. Is it possible to buy just the S02 Sunstar system and where from?
