It's not all about components, the Cannondale scores on frame quality.

It has their SAVE anti vibration construction.

Could be a marketing gimmick, but I tried one and found it was remarkably smooth and free of vibration, compared to other ally framed bikes which I find harsh and 'zingy'.

I found that vibration usually comes from poor quality fork and headset.

Ah! I bike I have actualy riden. At one point in time I had thought of scrapping my Rockrider 3.10 and buying this one to put a motor on but doing the math it still needs too much extra equipment for my needs so it didn't fit in the budget. It is quite good kit for the price and they often have special offers you could maybe pick up a discounted 2014 version.
