Apparently Derby is making a big commitment to electric bike transport.

The bikes look a bit naff. Anyone know what lurks beneath the bling?

I think the idea is "make it ugly enough nobody would want to steal it". And underneath something cheap from China?

I hope they've got the cable to the front hub motor well protected, it's always a big vulnerability.

I wonder if they know a major producer of e-bikes is Derby Cycles gmbh.
