Dutch view on Ebike after sale services

Quite gloomy overall but unsurprising, given what we know about e-bike reliability and repair problems. The Netherlands dealers have welcomed the big increase in income from their huge e-bike sales but are beginning to experience the considerable downsides.
It's an immature market of course so will take time to become sophisticated, something that took decades in the car industry. I doubt if it will ever attain that industry's best standards, simply because service charges and profit margins can never be really adequate in what is essentially a bicycle market.
