E bike dealers - Suffolk/North Essex?

Are there any dealers of e-bikes (particularly Wispers) in Ipswich or Mid Suffolk (Stowmarket etc), Felixstowe or Colchester or any of these areas?

I am looking to eventually upgrade, most likely to a Wisper 905 City, but am looking for a closer dealer than ETS in Cambridge - I don't drive / own a car, East Anglia is big and its a long way to return a bike to if there are teething problems which require assesment by the dealer and I have only found one willing e-bike mechanic in Ipswich (albeit a very good one)

however I am fit enough to pedal an unpowered bike to any of these places..

Also ETS only opening the shops (and picking up the phones) 3 days a week is a concern, I see they have given an explanation on their website but it does smack of their resources being spread very thinly...

I know of LEV in Leiston/Sax or similar but they sell those high priced dutch style bikes only... TBH I find it surprising the lack of dealers as there are a fair few e-bikes seen on the road in this area!

Only these two Powabyke dealers as far as I know Alex:

Be Active Mobility Ltd., Lowestoft

Road Runner, Leiston

Gepida recently announced a list of dealers who were apparently derived from the Wisper listings, but none anywhere near that area.

Probably best to ask David at Wisper:

I too found this somwhat curious, which is why I got my 905se from e-bikes Direct. Happily, I found their customer service and speed of response exemplary, and would strongly reccomend them.

I've already been in touch with Wisper (who have been excellent in their responses) but as straylight mentions, it seems like there are few dealers of any e-bike in I accept there are really good mail order places and to be fair ETS was responsive during the sale but it doesn't make Cambridge any closer!

its a variety of factors TBH, I've found that most local bikes shops don't want to touch the e-bike even for normal repairs (one did say they'd "have a go" but weren't very commital but preferred Izips as they sell them), ideally I'd like a test ride before spending even more cash and its stuff like the 3/6 month checkup/service where I'd like to deal with a local place with fast turnaround (1-2 days), especially for r things like retensioning spokes etc just like I normally get with my unpowered pushbikes...

also I'd be prepared to pay slightly extra to be able to pick up a built, charged, inspected and test bike from the shop than have to wait for a courier to send me a parcel that may or may not have got bashed around...

one local mechanic was very helpful but I think he has to be booked well in advance as he's that good and very busy...

I reckon Mid Suffolk would be a good place for ebikes to be sold as thats where the hills are ;)
