Anyone have any experience of these? Been offered one for £250. My head says stay away, but heart says could be a fun toy.

No pedals, so can only be ridded on the road with motorbike licence and insurance. £250 leaves a lot of money for a 72v battery and 30 amp controller, which should make it go like a 50cc petrol one, although you'll need a big battery to go any distance.

These are gutless in standard form, nowhere near enough power for any sort of hill, then giving a good imitation of a milk float at the end of a delivery day.

Boost as d8veh says and it could be fun.

Yeah, having seen a online video, they do look gutless.
I have got a motor bike licence so I think I'd be totally underwhelmed at its performance, even at that price!
