OK

They all look ok and would be OK for riding around town & short trips and as it says there all in working order, but the funky little white one (they sell them in Halfords I think?) looks a tad expensive ???.

The fact they will not post will kill the available number of voters.

IMO I have always found ETS to be very expensive. I guess if their customer service and after sales support is good this may account for it.

Many of those bikes are used and simlar money could be put towards a new or kit upgrade.

Hi Jerry,
They looked after me when I had problems with the Brompton Sparticle after the wheel spun out and sheared the drop out, they replaced the forks foc and manufactured a new fork containing spacer to solve the problem.

Note new Outrider replacement cable now fitted.

My motor is a YPW01 with a width of 105mm so that new Outrider motor you looked at could fit but I think it would need a few extra spacers to clear the forks due to the parallel side design.

Yes as I said, I have heard their after sales service is good.

Though in your case, I would have expected them to sort that out FOC

When I spoke to them a year or two ago about the Sparticle kit they told me they were having Brompton forks professionally modified (spread) and were incorprating a torque arm ?

Would be interested to see some pics of what they did on yours ?

a right motley collection...with the exception of wisper and gazelle I guess. surely prices are more aspirational then realistic (someone said that the other week and I liked it:p)

Kinda shot themselves in the foot a bit with "buy it now" only, and no offers box:confused:

I like them they are very helpful, prices may be due to rates and taxes etc in Camden, North London. Probably considerably higher then shops in the back of beyond.....

I am sure they must be mighty fed up of people popping in for a demo and buying on line cheaper..and why I never worked in retail.....

Thats a neat conversion. I like the idea of putting heat shrink over the motor cable entry arrangement. I need to encorporate that into my conversions.

Also the connector cover looks neat. I never understood how those worked. I assume the lid is off. Saves putting cable ties over the cable as I assume you tie the case to the fork ?

Where did you get it again, Outrider ?

Do you have a few ?

Yes, I saw it only after ordering the cables and they managed to add a free sample before shipping.
If anyone else is making an order perphaps they could ask for one as well and send it on to you.

I hope to do a more detailed post showing what I did. It turned out to be a major refurb.

It is shown better on their Alibaba page, ignore the price it is wrong:

Oi, make up your own stuff and don't pinch mine! ;)

The Gazelle went quickly from their advert so I'm not the only one who likes their bikes. I do agree though Eddie, most of the stuff they're getting rid of is not exactly state of the art but I'd imagine that the bikes are serviceable with some battery life still left. TETS sell and repair quite a few makes of ebike so I should think someone seeking to try a cheap ebike might be better to consider something 2nd-hand from the likes of TETS than chancing their arm on ebay.

I note that Shemozzle has posted a link today referring to the same advert carried on TETS' website so I guess he/she hasn't been keeping up with the recent posts on here.

As I mentioned ebay, I'll tell you what Eddie; if that Scott bike had a decent sprung fork, I could be tempted to bid on it but I really don't fancy riding anything with a solid front end for any distance these days. It seems like a cheap way to experience Bosch power on a decent frame though.

you may end up with alfina 11 or dérailleurs as last bike had different pic then the spec. If price right I think it worth a gamble as fork change would not cost much but is it possible?

odds are that this is the same bike. lack of feedback kinda backs this up. have you tried asking him anything?

we are now on wrong thread....

Thanks. They are hopefully sending me a couple more controllers so I will ask.

I just hope cwah doesn't see it:rolleyes:

Now that is what I call stealthy.

Thinking along your lines Jerry - 8 wheel drive - one on each foot - independant steering - unlimited wheelies on heelies:)
