This used to be called Euro Bike show in the past but having walked through the halls its hard to find a stand now that hasnt got anything to do with electric.

The ebike desease is spreading fast across Europe. Its really hard to believe that everything is full now of electric bikes.

All the best

Indeed, in the utility cycling countries of mainland Europe the pedelec is rapidly becoming the accepted bicycle of choice, their presence more than equal to that of the sporting bike. We in Britain need to get the public more aware of their importance and relevance,

After all, in an age where the British public widely accept the need for electrical assistance to clean one's teeth, surely the effort of cycling without assistance is archaic, even eccentric.

Andrew...good to meet up with you, just got back to the UK...every stand seems to be at least 20% ebike and often more.
Some initial thoughts...
1. Euro 2000 to 2300 seems the average now.
2. Rode a number of crank drive plus Nuvinci seemed to work very well together
3. KTM have expanded their range considerably, seemed to keep the graphics understated, they had a Macina e-compact,24" wheel urban style bike-I am sure ladies would like this bike-Bosch,Magura hydraulic,Nexus Alfine...rrp uk £2150.00
For a commuter bike I really liked their new Macina Sport, understated but smart graphics...400Wh,Bosch Performance,Shimano XT 10 speed,XT hyd brakes,700c rims, includes good quality mudguards, rack and lights....rrp uk £2050,compared to others this looked good value, effectively a larger wheeled version of the Macina Bold(26")
They have also added a Bosch plus Nuvinci Harmony full auto trans. I rode their test bike, ayone who likes auto cars would love this bike...rrp uk £2600
4. Haibike have gone mad, from 6 models there are now 20 plus....they even have an Xduro style but with drop handlebars....called the Xduro Race 28,not sure whether that works,it certainly looks dramatic and had lots of interest. Perhaps a Haibike specialist could read through all the new models-they looked badge engineering with slight spec changes but others may know better.
5 BH Emotion have added a ladies step thru version in their Neo Race range called Jet,one for fast ladies.

Apologies for sticking to Haibike,KTM and BH but these are the brands of most interest to me,anyone who has been to Eurobike will know it is so big that even with 3 days you still have to be focused, you can easily look at everything and see nothing.
Hope of interest.
