You can tell eZee yourself Dave, I'm in Prague.;)
BTW, red is one of my favourite colours, particularly the Forza RWD.

Are any of your ancestors Belgian?
My ancestors are very much Scottish actually Dave......have you got a problem with that pal:mad:

However, in fairness, you are partially correct, if you go far enough back my 'roots' were Flemish.

At Cyclezee, we try to embrace all cultures and beliefs and don't have problem with the colour red:confused:

You must appreciate it is difficult to satisfy all tastes, eZee bikes are of course available in a range of colours and I am sure if there was enough demand, 'Bling' could be an optional extra:)

Nice site John, different from the many which is good.

eZee have always been enterprising where colour choice is concerned. Back in 2005/2006 they had a choice of five colours* on most models, all with the battery case co-ordinated in the bike colour, the only e-bike company ever to do that with choice. It was popular, the only thing ending it was the problem for suppliers stocking replacement batteries in 5 colourways, nigh on impossible. One answer would be a an outer cladding, but there's not much room for that.

*Red, Blue, Green, Yellow and Silver.

I suppose being Chinese we should expect red as bridal color and brings good fortune,... are you reddy .?

Shrinkwrap, maybe?
Posssibly, but difficult for more than one reason. The exact colour matching of plastic shrinkwrap to the paint could be difficult and the shrinkwrap would have to have a moulded closed end with air vent if the battery top was to be coloured as well. Also it would be difficult to have a correctly aligned and undistorted shrinkwrap aperture for the charging socket and fuse cap on the two sides.

Work is still in progress on the eZee website Tony, Ken Ching is doing a good job.

The battery case colour choice is now 3, black, silver and white. My suggestion of red with yellow stars was rejected:(, of course, we could also have the Union Jack..........or not:rolleyes:

I am dissapointed in the range of bikes, they used to be one of the top selling electric bikes on the market,i think they have some of the best motors you can buy, but they are still fitted in the same old frames,so tired old dated look just with different colours,so who is going to bother reviewing them.

I think the battery behind the seat post style (not just eZee) is starting to look a little old fashioned. It works ok, but the elongated wheelbase doesn't look as nice as Bosch driven bikes, for example. Just my opinion.

Hi Paul,
You could make those same comments about many brands, but eZee have a wider range than ever including completely new models. eZee's philosophy is one of constant improvement of existing models and a gradual introduction of new ones.
We know we have one of the best motors on the market, and the level of efficiency is being improved all the time.
To many the eZee range may look the same as those from several years ago, but the differences and improvements are more than just skin deep.

Hi 50 Hertz,
Thank you for your comments.
The eZee battery case design and location has remained unchanged since it was introduced and means that any eZee battery will fit any eZee bike regardless of how old it might be.
Of course the battery technology has improved and eZee now use the latest Samsung Lithium Polymer cells and a wider range of capacities to, up to 20Ah.
We have customers with bikes dating back to 2006 who are quite happy with their bike and just need a new battery, so replacement is not a problem.

Not an Aygo John? I'm disappointed, not only do they make them there but they also do one in red:rolleyes:
Not an Aygo Shem, a Citigo by Skoda and a fine small car it is, we'll put together, surprisingly roomy and excellent perfomance. It is of course the same as the VW UP! Which is also made here.

The Ezee Torque is still my favourite bike to ride out of all the ones I've tried. There's no doubt that the steady improvements over the years have produced an excellent bike. If you could only choose a bike blindfolded, Ezee would be a market leader; however many people choose a bike with their heart, not by being pragmatic.

If that's not a commendation, I don't know what is.

You have got it spot on D8veh, people do choose with their hearts and don't always weigh up the most important factors when choosing a bike be that electric or not, in fact the same is true of many products where there is a wide choice.
