Pleased to hear it. Whilst he's out there, get him to rip up and burn that ghastly decking too. It's so unsightly.Oh dear you have me worried now, anyway you will be happy to know he is on the job sorting out the leaves and grass edgings, and I will have Daimler Mercedes check the forks, its would be awful if I had an accident! That decking is outside the log cabin, its great for BBQ's in the summer away from the house, it's a man cave where I go to get inspiration
OMG, just been for a ride on the bike, its AWFUL, what the hell do you need squishy front forks for, I have never ridden one with front forks and don't even know what they are for, I only bought them because they were a limited edition. Will give is a few days but may go back to my normal ones, never mind, live and learn
If you are riding on the road only, then wise tyre choice will make a more positive, noticeable difference to the feel of the bike, than the suspension.OMG, just been for a ride on the bike, its AWFUL, what the hell do you need squishy front forks for, I have never ridden one with front forks and don't even know what they are for, I only bought them because they were a limited edition. Like Plasmadaddy, I do find it mildly entertaining. Unfortunately, you've joined at a time where a lot of the forum members are getting sick of the chaff in between posts.

I agree with you, I much prefer normal rigid forks. As you know, I've got a Black Edition with the suspension forks - and I keep them locked out when cycling on tarmac. Unlocked they are pretty good for cycling on the cobbles through Old Aberdeen.

Send them back to MB as defective, and buy some air forks. Having said that, I still don't understand why you didn't just buy a suspension seat post as advised by several forum members, and be done with it. You don't need or require suspension forks.

It was my wrists that were taking knocks on an unmade road hence the choice of the front suspension forks, I have no problem with the seat its very comfortable. I think I will lock them out now and again and get used to them, maybe its just stare as I have never ridden a bike with them before

The cobbles you talk about are similar to my unmade road so I will get used to turning them on and off. How do you lock them, just turn the switch with the padlock maximum clockwise?

Mercedes don't do suspension seat posts. They wouldn't go with the colour scheme and will marr the look.
Smart ebiker would rather add 2kgs of extra smart metal.
I seem to recall that there are handle bar grips that can help in respect shock absorption. Bar ends might also help, but again, you would have to research them to find which might be suitable.
Tanks, I am trying to stick with original Daimler Mercedes Smart eBike accessories otherwise I could spoil the look the designers obviously spent months putting together. I don't want my bike to look like a Christmas tree, its built as a sleek minimalistic machine, its like a piece of art that you just want to keep looking at, and get inspired and excited looking at
