Framelock for Sprint

Does anybody know if an Axa Defender or an Abus 4850 framelock will fit on an Ezee Sprint? It looks to me as if the struts for the rear carrier might get in the way.

I don't think they will. I investigated this on an eZee Torq some years ago and it wasn't possible. eZee's frame small design details are very similar and the battery mounting the same, so your Sprint is likely to suffer in the same way.

Some of the latest generation eZee bikes, Torq Alfine and Sprint GTS have this type of lock fitted as standard, but you would need the type that can be fitted to bikes that don't have braze ons. I had a sprint a few years ago and I did manage to fit this type of framelock, but only to the outside of the rear seatstay so it wasn't trapped within the rear triangle:

The defender type are too big to fit between the battery and the wheel.
