They have some Bosch bikes coming out in 2012 apparently.....Should be interesting

FYI The high spec X series are over £5000

I really don't understand why they make bikes that tip the scale at that price unless there some concept design.

It really makes a mockery of using a bike as a cheap form of transport.

Still each to their own.

Switzerland is a very expensive country, even more so than Germany. The products from both reflect that, especially when from Switzerland.

The Swiss also have a history of top quality precision manufacture in watches and clocks, and that perfectionism is continued in many other things they produce, including the BikeTec Flyers. Hand built to the highest possible standards and using the best components in each price zone, it's also possible to specify variations in any bike ordered so that it's a unique bike built for you. All that costs of course.
