Hi im planing on converting my Genesis croix De fer with a Tongsheng TSDZ8. I was wondering hiw much clearance there is between the bottom bracket and the motor. I.E for gear cables. I've attached photos for reference. The cable guide is 9mm high from BB

The clearance on the tsdz8 is about 10mm, same as on bafang BBS01/BBS02, enough for most bottom bracket cable guides. If yours is too tall, you can get these self adhesive low profile single guides:
Tsdz2b has about 7mm gap.

On my one, it's about 6mm. There's a slight swelling of the BB of maybe 1mm, so if you have a thin BB tube, you might get 7mm.
Try it, and if there's insufficient clearance, which will probably be the case, run the cables in an outer around the motor. That's notexactly a big problem to do.
that's why I suggested self adhesive mini guides. If your guide doesn't allow the motor, you can put the self adhesive guides where they don't get in the way.
