Not much for the electric bike community this year but an eccentric focus on tandems - the first a folding tandem and the second a tandem which shrinks to a single person bike.

Both seemed pretty heavy and I suspect it would be more practical to have two bikes rather than the shrinking two-in-one tandem.

They are a bit strange, aren't they? I think the first (folder) looks better than the second, though I wouldn't want to have either of them really....

The first looks like an 'add on' to a standard small-wheel folder. The distance from handlebars to saddle on the rear part seems a bit short though. You'd almost be leaning back.

I can't see how the front pedals drive on the second. There's no visible connection from front to back.

The front one doesn't seem to have a horizontal hinge anywhere, so it looks as though it will break it's back if the front wheel lifted on a speed hump or similar. I suspect only for show, not thought through.

There's a tiny box in the frame at the rear crank BB on the second, so there may be an internal shaft drive like the Zero one.
