Many thanks for letting me join your Club. I've been cycling around south London since 1965 and have recently been converted to pedelec e bikes. Last summer I purchased a 1999 Yamaha Easy with a completely buckled back wheel which I have rebuilt with a much stronger Italian rim and laced 4 cross as opposed to the original 3 cross. Stainless spokes of course.
Now it is time to rebuild the original NiCd 24v battery. Your forum has previously advised others in the same situation to use BGA Reworking / Insat International in London N11. Please can you advise me if this is still a good choice ?? I am planning to opt for Lithium ion cells........
What would the Forum suggest to this pedelec novice ?
Thank you in advance for your comments and advice ?

Yours aye , Jaykay

Welcome JayKay, yes, Jimmy at BGA is definitely the best place to get your battery changed to lithium cells etc.
