Hi,
I'm looking at buying either the B8Fun or GSM mid drive motor. 250 watts. I live in a very hilly area hence the choice of mid drive. I've previously used a similar sized motor around here and it seems ok.
I spoke to Woosh and they suggested the GSM but using an external controller. It gets very hot here in the summer (30-35C) and that might have had a bearing on their suggestion. They further suggested sourcing a third party battery and controller.
Has anyone got any suggestions about what battery and controller to use for minimal wiring fuss?
Is the GSM ok as a motor or is it still too flakey? Should I just go for a B8Fun or doesn't it make much difference.
