At any one time there are many more guests viewing the forum than members, at this moment in time, 5 times as many of you:eek:

So why not register for membership here Register at Pedelecs Electric Bike Community,
It is completely free and takes 5 minutes.

Once your registration is processed you can start posting as little or as often as you like and be part of the best forum on the web:cool:

Don't delay, just do it now;)

Thanks for looking.

Good point Dave,

Perhaps I should also mention that the forum welcomes members worldwide although it might seem a bit UK centric.

I am always amazed at the amount of newly registered members over on the introductions forum...But most never make it over onto here.

Agreed Eddie,

Not every registered member is a frequent poster, but several do.
The bottom line is if you are not a member you can't post, so even if you only one thing to say or ask, why not join?

Most of the time that I'm on here I'm not logged in so would show as a guest in your counting. I only normally log in if I'm starting a thread or replying to one. Like this one. ;)

I know that many members have previously posted that they view without logging in, so it may be that the ratio of visitors to members shown is quite inaccurate.

Yes I am sure you are correct, many members don't log in when just viewing.
However, I have noticed quite few people registering today, so it might be interesting to check back in a week to see if the membership has increased from the current figure of 5,020.

Good work.

And welcome to all the new members. I look forward to seeing pictures of your bikes and your comments about them.

Well done. With that sort of record the MOD will be after you to boost army recruitment!

Thanks Dave,

I probably can't take the credit for all the new recruits as some were probably registering anyway.

The average rate of daily recruitment since the forum opened is just over 2.5 per day, so it's likely your appeal brought most of them in.

In the past I have had difficulty staying logged in , but I think i have resolved this now , see my thread "fifty percent success rate . " So , I have only logged in whilst trying to post , and would show as a guest most of the time . Maybe a lot of members have had the same problem , which would skew the figures .

Unless I am mistaken I think a fair few of the guests are from outside our timezone as there are over 20 viewing this site together with this only signed in member. I would hate to think they are non signed in members, like me, waiting for the kettle to boil so I can make a hot drink and shift this trapped wind and then get back to sleep.

Thank you for sharing that with us Shem:rolleyes:

Of course they could all be insomniacs or early risers like me;)

I've been on at daft hours at times (though not for any jet propulsion attempts) and found other members also logged in. We've no shortage of night owls it seems.

Yes your right, probably too much information, but the operation was successful:eek:
I just hope I didn't wake the neighbours!
