I have completely wrecked the handlebar mounted battery indicator on my ezee chopper, my fault, ace over base. Also the battery on my ezee liv seems to have died a death. I think it was one of the duff ones, but hey ho, too late now to do anything about it. I will see what I can find out from my trusty avo on the chopper and then contact cyclepoint. Having said that cyclepoint seem to be remarklably absent from this forum(shame) and I do not have much confidence in getting help. we shall see, perhaps I am being unfair, time will tell.

Sorry to hear this Richard. I'm sure Rhys at Cyclepoint will try to help out with a new meter, and the Liv battery if needed. Although the Chopper is discontinued, it's just a small wheeled Sprint and the Sprint is still a current model.

Although a long shot, 50cycles had a stock of eZee spares from 2007, and it could be worth a phone call to see if they still have a meter.

If you haven't already checked it, let us know your battery complete alpha-numeric serial number starting with a "J" for us to check it's provenance.

Thankyou flecc,
I will follow your advice, but for now I am going to beddybise it has been a long day and I will check the serial no in the morning.
thanks richard.
ps. I had this accident three months ago and it resulted in an ulcerated leg, having said that the doc said that one of the best exercices I could do to help it to heal was cycling ! apparently it increases the blood flow to the wound thereby assisting healing. it seems to be working. thank goodness
