Handlebar Mounted Battery

This dealers bike has the battery mounted on the handlebars to improve balance !!!!! am I missing something?

And rubbing on the headstock as the handlebars are turned! Not very well thought out. A couple of years back some Sun* bicycles were launched with the Tongxin motor and a tiny handlebar battery, but they disappeared almost as quickly.

That bike looks OK, but expensive compared with Woosh bikes that have a cast iron guarantee and backup. I think £600 would be a more realistic price.

A honking great weight on the handlebars is going to seriously detract from balance and stability. Why does he think it makes balance better?
