Hello,

My name's Penny. I've had a Batribike Dash since December 2013 and done over 1500 miles on it, in training for a solo battery powered attempt on Land's End to John O' Groats at the end of August.

My bike is the best thing I've ever had. As a sufferer from Crohn's Disease, doing the trip on a non-powered bike would not be possible, so I'm very excited to have the chance to try.

OOo -sorry, I appear to be sideways!

I've been stood up, in the nicest possible way! Thanks to whoever managed that with my picture.

Do any of you know of anyone else who's done the trip on an electric bike? It would be great to compare notes.

Keep us posted on your plans. Maybe other forum members will join you for part of the ride or provide accommodation and or other support.

Ah but if it is working it could be giving your home address away?

Tintagel Castle is worth a visit if you have any energy left at the end of the day.

I think the youth hostel is right next to it. I went there as a child, it will be nice to go back, but aren't there steps? Could be interesting after a day in the saddle!

Lots of steps. Here's a picture I took of it a couple of years ago.
