Hi Folks, I've inherited 2 electric bikes, Eezee Forza (about 2010) and Eezee Torque (about 2015). Both have done minimal work (probably less than 500 miles each) and I'd love to get them going for myself and wife. Problem is, though I've charged them both up (according to the lights) neither goes. Sadly I'd struggle to sort out a push bike never mind an electric so I'm wondering if anybody knows a dealer who provides general servicing for various makes. I live in Herefordshire but could send them away..... Any advice gratefully received, can't wait to ride them through the Forest of Dean on my doorstep.

ElectricBikeSales carry out diagnosis and repairs, your nearest branches at Oxford and Cambridge. They also have collect and return service on this web page.

Make sure of costs first though of course.

Although currently without an agent, I understand that Ezee will soon announce a new UK agent which will help matters, so could be worth hanging on. Spares are available direct from Ezee meanwhile.

It's unlikely that both bikes have actually failed, it's more likely that the batteries have been negected and are not up to driving the bikes, despite being charged. If it does turn out to be that cause, the batteries can be recelled to return them to new condition.

Have you checked the voltage at the charged battery terminals, it should be 41.5 volts? Also do the motors show any signs of driving when the charged batteries are connected? If necessary lift the motor wheel off the ground when trying to see if it turns. You may need to turn the pedals to get a motor to run since they have pedal turn sensors.
