I did as you said, chief, and checked the battery immediately after charging was complete. It showed 43 volts. The battery is a Phyllion XH370 10J, 37v 10a. I look forward to your verdict. Many thanks, Johnny

Pending d8veh coming back in, I noticed you post this on your other thread.

I don't think you have anything to worry about, it probably just means the low cost meter you bought is reading about 1 volt high, not unusual.
