You won't find any resistance at all on the Panasonic or Bosch power units fitted to the Kalkhoffs David.

In theory there should be none on the Oxygen, but in practice there is sometimes some binding of the motor freewheel adding a little bit of drag.

OK flcc thank,s for the answer i am thinking of selling my Oxygen and going for the Kalkhoff Pro Connect as were i live is very Hillie and the Kalkhoff Pro Connect my well handle then better.

It will in many respects David. You will have to share in the effort a bit at all times, but the hills are easily handled with any level of your effort, since just slowing and changing down will reduce what you have to do to what you are happy with.

That said, as ever I'd advise trying before buying since it is a very different style of e-biking.
