Frankly,
I wouldn't touch anything that required a smart phone to operate.
Long years of bitter experience with computers latest operating systems that are not fully backward compatible puts me right off.

It looks like they nicked the saddle height adjustment slide from Giant's design on the Revive model.

That's from a decade ago, so cutting edge? o_O

My dream car. But I can't afford one... Now a velomobile with 1000 W of pedelec motors and limited to 45 kmh...

Indeed, I like the Renault Twizy but wish we had the Californian weather for it. In our climate it's a no no.

The Toyota i-car concept is what I'd like the most though:

I meant the one on the left in the picture :D

I knew, but I'm not a smartphone fan and like the Twizy concept!
.
That just leaves 'anotherkiwi' that didn't get the joke.

Unless he did, but he's just pro Renault, considering he lives in France :p

I got the joke. I really do like the twizy but at over 180€ a month (financing + battery hire) it is out of my budget.

Bluetooth equipped controllers are popping up all over the place. I don't have a mobile phone but I do have a tablet. That would make the ultimate all glass cockpit. None of your tacky Chinese PAS buttons and all those lovely controller settings to tweak!

How naive of me to think flecc and yourself didn't get it...

That price is too steep, they were circa £1500 new about 8 to 9 years ago and the batteries on those will be right at the end of life at this age.

They were a nice leisure semi-recumbent bike though, not gutsy but a refined and very comfortable ride. The sophistication was far ahead for the time and still cutting edge now, the seat and backrest height and reach adjusted together with it's very clever sliding channel with instant locking at any point. Similarly the handlebar stem adjusted for rake and reach in an instant, so any height or shape of person could be immediately accommodated without tools.

Launched again in a few years time with a right up to date crank drive unit it could perhaps be a big seller, only conservatism prevented it catching on ten years ago.
