Interesting idea, the flexibility to create a variety of e-vehicles quickly with minimal resources.

Once a base had been seen and approved in an application, subsequent type approval for new submissions with various bodies should be quick and simple.

Definitely an interesting concept and makes perfect sense (to me) to use off the shelf components. But I suspect the large manufacturers would rather differentiate than standardise to emphasise their unique selling point.

(In the applications section there is a nice side view, line drawing of a pickup body that looks like a VW Bay Window pickup - got me wondering if it would be possible to drop a VW camper body onto one of these. Could be an interesting project for the future.)

As with most electric cars the range leaves me cold (like cycling in this weather ) as I wouldn't want to entertain having to have two cars, one for local use and another for long range...
