While I think about it, I contacted Connex a few nights ago about the front sprockets, and this was the reply that I received today.
"we got feedback that our sprockets are running well with 10 and 11 speed chains.
our sprocket is 2,00 mm and the chain inner width is 2,18 mm."

Haibike has a really nice way to make both the engine and the battery blend in with the design of the bike!

Oddly I was going to swap the tyres back to front tomorrow, so at least it happened before doing that.

its also a few hundred grams lighter than the ones you have but costs 40 quid each. just got a normal mm on the front ebay fook up ;(
