the chain is to short so add a couple of links to it as if the rear mech is maxed out like that you can snap the chain or rip the mech in half.

also those spokes seem to be bent in ways that dont look right to me.

Guerney,
The battery is coming on Monday. I’ve got a comfy saddle to put on, then I’ll be on the road!
Regards,
Bill.
You've got the new buyer advantage: If something snaps, it's up to Fiido to repair or replace. Adding links to try can't do any harm. The easiest way to add links, is using masterlinks - that way the chain won't snap if you've connect links badly using a chain tool (easily done - I cracked a front tooth once a very long time ago, when a chain broke while going uphill and I landed face first), leaving it weak. Masterlinks are also easy to remove if required.

Maybe that's normal for Fiido? We need @cyclebuddy , who owns a similar Fiido. Here are photos of his spokes:

Is there a chain tension adjustment screw on the derailleur? I's try unscrewing that first, before considering adding links.

Surely he can't have been sold a completely bent bike? Do you have Central Serous Retinopathy like I have? Look at this Amsler grid, follow the instructions - you may have kinky eyes like mine, where one eye can show straight lines kinky, but when both eyes are looking, the brain combines the images and straightens them out ;)

Yep, that could burn your maculas for sure. Add some ambient lights to even it out? CSR is the new RSI for IT workers.

Angle on my highest gear (mine's an old, used like mad bike) - your required angle may vary:

:D

But it'll just get dirty. It can't get dirty if it's already dirty. Suits me fine, because I'm a very dirty person, also lazy - simply chucking Hypoid 90 over it all, suits me fine. Works perfectly, saves time.

Santa, I've written to you many times before every Christmas. This year I'll use Klarna.

Cheers for post that amazing vid - I searched for it a few weeks ago to send a friend a link...

He wobbles in a worrying way for a split second somewhere in that video - I'm not surprised he fell off and won't use large engined bikes anymore.

Downloaded it through the Opera VPN... ;)
