There's a bunch of these going for a song on ebay via Rutland Cycles, my question, does anyone on here own one and, if so, can you recommend it: the range seems rather limited, but I like the look of the bike, it's pretty light and the battery is actually hidden in the frame (probably explains why the range may be not so great). Seems like a great bike though, or am I wrong?

well if they are saying range is 12 miles it is probably less so not a very practical bike ....Shame as it looks pretty decent

edit: more spec on ebikes direct site, they say range is 20 miles. and it has the currie motor....... not very light though @20kg:(

I would call them and just have a chat as I find them a decent retailer

And that would be 12 miles on the flat, presumably .... round these parts, I'd get about half an hour out of the battery if that is really the range.

The previous in-frame battery bike they made not long ago very quickly had it's battery discontinued, leaving owners stumped for replacements. With that history and the fact they release a succession of far too many models that only stay on a sale for a very short time, it's a marque I wouldn't consider at almost any price.
